“He’s a smart guy and outspoken, but he’s a Holocaust denier, he’s homophobic, he’s a pedophile and he says he hunts homosexuals,” the case’s lead detective told Reuters.
According to reports, police in Rio de Janeiro have recovered Nazi uniforms, memorabilia and weapons worth about $3.5 million from the home of the alleged pedophile.
Aylson Proenca Doyle Linhares, 58, was arrested on Tuesday after a couple in her neighborhood accused her of abusing their 12-year-old son, Agence France-Presse reported, according to police commissioner Louis Armand.

Police said they found more than 1,000 Nazi-related items at the suspect’s home, including images and busts of Adolf Hitler, uniforms, publications, paintings, insignia, flags and medals of the Third Reich, according to Reuters.
They also recovered several firearms, including a machine gun and a rifle, and gunpowder from the era, as well as a Nazi membership card containing a photograph of the suspect.
Linhares was charged with arms possession, racism and pedophilia after police found photos of the minors at her home, Armand said.
“He’s a smart guy and outspoken, but he’s a Holocaust denier, he’s homophobic, he’s a pedophile and he says he hunts homosexuals,” Armand, the lead detective in the case, told Reuters.
“I’m no doctor, but that sounds like a crazy psycho to me,” he said.
Armand said that Linhares, who came from a wealthy familyprobably used his inheritance to build the Nazi collection.

“It’s something that is completely unusual and shocking,” Armand said.
