In the tragic scenes that marked the end of Super Soap Week, Johnny was portrayed by Richard Hawley, who overheard his dead son, Aidan, calling him ‘dad’, before finally surrendering to the cold and drowning.

Johnny’s death closed Richard’s six-year tenure as Carla’s longtime eventual father.
