I’m A Celebrity is known for its hideous and terrifying challenges, which were somewhat hampered by the covid protocol last year.

Speaking to his I’m A Celebrity campmate Victoria Derbyshire, Vernon said: ‘I think they’ll probably face some challenges. [this year], the test, we missed, and AJ especially missed the physical tests.

She said: ‘They told us, when you go out on a test or a challenge, don’t talk to the production crew, don’t befriend them.’

Vernon said: ‘We have been told not to communicate so that we have no sense of reality. You know, we’re on a reality TV show, but that’s because we’re not passionate about news or things that might affect us or our feelings in the camp.’
