‘But it was like.. the third time around. I have grown into a nature lover, tree hugger, or quite a deep hippie in the midst of my first two and young child Freda.

‘That’s why I have basically established this birth palace in the middle of the trees. I dried the flowers it was so involved. It looked like a Baz Luhrmann set. I had candles everywhere.

Charlotte continued: ‘So I worked there all night which was beautiful but then I yelled at her on the bathroom floor.

‘It started to drizzle around 7am, and I live next to a golf course. And I really started listening to golfers.

‘My noise… I’m a noisy lady anyway but if I’m in any pain. My noise started to increase. I thought: “That won’t work.” There I was born in the trees.’

‘The way she has made our entire family dynamic. It was getting to the point when little kids start the process of adolescence so they start to turn a little bit away from you but in reality it has really connected us all and made each one a little softer and a little submissive.

‘It’s become completely succulent. I love the whole thing – parenting is incredibly hard and you do a lot of soul searching but in my mind it’s the absolute pinnacle of my existence and I love it.

‘Obviously your 20s are more chaotic, especially since I was 21 and 22, Ruby and Dexter were so young. And so things are pretty much a whirlwind but in a way things are simple.
