The Alan McGee-curated festival will also feature Happy Mondays, Echo and the Bunnymen, Friendly Fire, and more.
IDLES has been announced as one of the main titles of the Creation Day Festival 2022.
The festival is being curated by Alan McGee, co-founder of Creation Records, and was set to debut this year before coronavirus-enforced restrictions were forced to be canceled.

The Creation Day festival now aims to debut May 28-29, 2022 at West Park in Wolverhampton.
“I am delighted to be asked again by Wolverhampton Council and Toura Toura Festivals to curate the Utility Creation Day Festival 2022,” McGee said in a statement. “It’s great to see that most of the bands that missed playing this year due to COVID restrictions have agreed to come back in 2022 and play with the great addition of IDLES.”
IDLES will headline the first night of Creation Day Festival 2022 on 28 May, with Echo and the Bunnymen, Cast, Glasvegas, Icobelly, Shambolics, The Clockworks and The ILICits also set to perform on the opening day.
Happy Monday May 29 will be headlined, featuring so far Friendly Fire, ASH, Black Grape, Sleeper, The Wedding Present, Grandmas House, Cat SFX and Marquis Drive.
Tickets for Creation Day Festival 2022 will go on sale tomorrow at 10 am (September 10) from here.
