I’m A Celeb hosts Ant and December have revealed that the empty campmates slept on the floor and in sleeping bags after leaving Gwyrich Castle.
Camp mates were relocated to remote cottages after Storm Arwen beat up the set, forcing ITV to stop broadcasting for three days while repairs were made.
Speaking on TODAY Morning, December revealed how the celebs maintained their camp routine while in isolation.
He said: “They’ve been there (the palace) the best part of a week. They all really bonded. They were all set to go, they were like you can get us back as soon as possible .
“Arlene took off her sleeping bag because she slept so well there. Danny Miller is sleeping on the floor because he’s not comfortable in bed. They’re desperate to go back in and finish the challenge.”
Frankie Bridges previously revealed that her knees were a bit sore after spending the day at the palace, and so she took the opportunity to refresh them.
Ant said: “Frankie took all her knees to wash in the sink because they smelled.”
The pair also revealed the horrors that unfolded on the sets of the show last week.
Speaking from Ant’s Cottage in North Wales, the pair said they were “simply perished” after their show was canceled for the first time in history.
He said strong winds tore down the production team’s marquees and tents – with Gwyrich Castle the only building remaining unaffected.

The pair recounted how the owners ordered them to come to the palace on Friday afternoon, saying: “We got a call to come to the site ASAP on Friday afternoon because we had to watch the show to be safe in case the satellites went down.” Had to pre-record.”
As anticipated, Storm Arwen did indeed strike, leaving some of the show’s production facilities in disrepair.
December told hosts Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield: “The wind had destroyed the tent base. The site was unsafe.
“Nobody was allowed to return to the site. We had no choice but to pull their show. We were just disappointed.
“We had to put the celebs back in quarantine. It’s been a huge week of upheaval.”
Ant praised the production team of the show, saying: “They worked round the clock.
“Castle is something that’s perfectly fine. The only reason we took celebrities out was because they meant to leave.
They have no phones, no internet and they are cut off from the rest of the world – how we like it.”
