The 77-acre town currently has a population of 23 people and is home to an abandoned strip club with a horrifying story.

“There was a strip club called The Whispers which has since closed permanently. There was a murder, enough of a business story,” Listing agent Michael Turner said In a 2017 interview with the Houston Chronicle.

In 2008, a club-goer died after being lynched in an attack that involved the DJ of the Whispers at the time, according to Corsicana Daily Sun,

Google Maps showed that the club’s name was edited to “Marc Cuberet”.

The building formerly known as “The Whispers” is now an abandoned strip club.

However, after having previously listed for $4 million at the time, the listing price was last slashed to $2 million.

The Mustang was previously described as a “ghost town” consisting only of a wastewater treatment facility and a volunteer fire department.

The city was founded in the 1970s and was considered the only place in Navarro County where people could buy alcohol.

“It was a boomtown in the liquor business. There was a long line of cars around Corsicana and Navarro County,” Turner said.

Today, the town has some trailer parks and horse farms.
