Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl is the latest star to read a CBeebies bedtime story.

The 52-year-old American musician will read a story based on the lyrics of the Beatles song Octopus Garden, the BBC said.

Written by Beatles drummer Sir Ringo Starr and illustrated by Ben Kort, the book follows five children as they embark on an underwater journey.

Grohl has recorded two stories for CBeebies, the first of which is Octopus Garden. It will air on October 8.

He said: ‘As a proud father of three children, I have always enjoyed reading stories to my children. Glad to read these stories for CBBz.’

He joins a long list of musicians and other stars who have previously read CBB’s Bedtime Stories, including Sir Elton John, Dolly Parton, Tom Hardy, reggae-Jean Page, Felicity Jones, and Otti Mabuse, who have all appeared on TV slots. have appeared in.

It comes after Dave and his bandmates left Jennifer Aniston starstruck as they visited the set of The Morning Show last week.

The 52-year-old Hollywood superstar could not contain her joy after seeing several pictures of rock superstars performing on the Apple TV+ show.

‘The @foofighters visited @themorningshow. This super fan will never forget this day!! (Heart Emoji) Mind Officially BLOWN (Mind Blow Emoji),’ he captioned the slideshow, along with the hashtags ‘Fan for Life’, ‘Best Human Ever’ and ‘FBF’.

A photo of the Friends star hugging Dave on stage showed Jennifer meeting her icon just like any other fan.

The slideshow suggested that the band would be making an appearance on the show as themselves, with rock stars performing on stage with their names displayed on screen.

Actress Juliana Margulies also appears on a new episode of The Morning Show as reporter Laura Peterson.
