The country’s favorite dance competition returned last weekend.
And Neena Wadia revealed that she has already given up a few dress sizes as a result of her exhausting Strictly Come Dancing training regime.
The soap star, 52, said around six hours of training was given initially, but is likely to nearly double it this time to ‘get everything done’.
Hard Work: Neena Wadia elaborated on her pretty strict training regime and said that she has already dropped ‘a few dress sizes’.
Nina, who pairs up with professional Neil Jones, commented: ‘It’s funny how quickly the weight drops off after a little bit of dancing.
‘I’m trying to balance a lot of things… the last thing I want to worry about is the actual dance.’
The EastEnders actress, who played Zainab Masood in the famous serial from 2007 to 2013, admitted that memorizing the choreography is a “different memory” of learning lines to which she is accustomed.

Good earning! The soap star, 52, said about six hours of training was given initially, but is likely to be nearly doubled to ‘get everything done’.
According to the Mumbai native, it was only after Lorraine surfaced that the reality of her involvement in the lucrative contest affected her.
Reflecting on the moment, she said: ‘When I was exposed on Lorraine I came off the set and I thought, “I’m going to throw up.”
Nina also jokingly said that it looked like she was ‘trekking in the Sahara’ because she had left the spray tan on for too long – something she said, as an Indian woman, she ‘didn’t really need to’ but wanted to try once in her life.

The gruesome training revelation comes amid reports that Strictly Come Dancing has seen a third professional dancer being denied a COVID vaccination.
Sources claim that the star has already been linked with a celebrity and it is well known among the cast that he has refused the jab, causing outrage behind the scenes.
This comes just days after reports claimed that two professional dancers had been denied the Covid vaccine, prompting the owners to fear that the show could be hit by another outbreak.
