Jessie J had a miscarriage after choosing to have a baby on her own.
The 33-year-old musician revealed the news an instagram post shared on Wednesday. Jessie J shared the announcement a few hours before she was scheduled to perform a concert in Los Angeles.
“Yesterday morning I was laughing with a friend saying ‘Seriously though how am I going to go through my gig in L.A. last night without telling the whole audience I’m pregnant,'” she began her post .
“By yesterday afternoon I was thinking about going through the gig without breaking down…after going in for my third scan and being told there was no longer a heartbeat.”
Channing Tatum and Jessie J split months after reuniting
Jessie J revealed that she didn’t cancel her upcoming concert because she believed it would help her.
“I’ve done 2 shows in 2 years and my soul needs it,” she explained. “Even more today. I know some people may be thinking he should cancel it.”
“But in this moment I have clarity on one thing. I started singing when I was young for joy, to fill my soul and self love therapy, which has never changed and I need to process it in my own way. Is.”

The “Domino” singer revealed that she had opted to have a baby on her own in her emotional post.
“I decided to have a baby on my own,” wrote Jessie J. “Because it’s all I’ve ever wanted and life is short. Being pregnant was a miracle in itself and an experience I’ll never forget and know I’ll have again.”
Jessie J was recently linked to dancer Max Pham Nguyen after splitting from Channing Tatum.
Tatum and Jessie J dated for a year before separating, reuniting, and then separating again in 2020.
