Talking about parenthood, Jimmy said: ‘It might shift gears a little bit because of the kind of comedy I do.
‘But so far, I’m still telling the same jokes, I have the same sense of humour. We’ll see, because I’m sure I’m going to write a lot of material about him. In fact, I think he may be tax-deductible.’
Jimmy’s quip for being tax-deductible was in context back in June 2012, when the comedian’s involvement in an alleged K2 tax avoidance scheme came to light following an investigation by The Times.

Compliment: Jimmy said he was inspired to call his son Rockefeller after business magnate, but also after ‘the greatest comedian of all time’ Chris Rock.
Reflecting on this, the 8 out of 10 Cats host said: ‘People thought, because the type of comedy I do, it was a duck’s back water to me. But it was not so. It was really terrible. I had a panic attack’.
He said he still wakes up to panic attacks.
Jimmy confirmed he is now a father during a stand-up comedy show at the O2 Academy Brixton earlier this month.
According to Sun, Fannie mentioned her son during an adoption joke, telling the audience: ‘I had to tell my little boy that he was adopted. I mean, he isn’t, but he has the look on his face. I said, “No, no, no, you were adopted, the new family is raising you tomorrow.”
In another joke, he said: ‘We’re having a gender-reveal party for our kid, but we’re going to wait until he turns 21. With some kids you can’t tell if it’s a boy or an ugly girl?’
Jimmy was first pictured in March 2020 pushing back a pram in north London where he lives with Caroline.
The comedian has been in a relationship with Channel 5 commissioning editor Carolyn since 2001 after they met at an audition.
The pair has not previously spoken about whether they will have children together.
In March 2017, he told Radio 4’s Desert Island Disc that his first impression of his girlfriend was ‘a sex offender with the eyes of a one-note comedian’.
The star said that even though Caroline wasn’t immediately taken with her, she was immediately smiled, saying: ‘I knew. It felt perfect.’
