“Globalists can go to all hell, I’ve come to Texas,” he said.

The speech comes amid controversy for the Hungarian far-right leader after a speech in Romania last month in which he said “these countries are no longer nations – they are nothing more than a group of people”.

Mr Carlson shared the video on his show, saying Mr Stewart “looks like a guy who lives in the men’s room in your public library, eating imaginary insects out of the air”.

“What’s really the most interesting part [the video] Not a policy debate, but Jon Stewart himself. He is completely unrecognizable. He looks crazy,” said the Fox News host.
