Anthony Joshua has conditioned himself for 15 rounds against Oleksandr Usik – but backed up to work with fuel still in the tank.

Joshua, as always, is working out a masterplan at Team GB’s Sheffield headquarters with a team of trainers and training partners.

Among those drafted for the Southeastern bouts is German Schökran Parwani, who is a 16–1 cruiserweight.

Parwani, 29, is left in awe of Joshua, 31, and will be shocked to see the results on the night of the fight against Usyak, 34.

He told SunSport: “The AJ is air conditioned for 15 rounds, it has dropped six people, different features, different styles, different techniques.

“He made them all really great, with a lot of calmness and everything he does he is practicing and everything he does in the camp, he will do it in the ring.

“It’s nothing new for him and I think he’ll stop him and really startle everyone.

“Because everyone will be amazed how great AJ is because he’s a great boxer and he has a great mindset.”

Parvani is a veteran Usyk replica who helped 37-year-old Derek Chisora, before the British legend was beaten by the Ukrainian last year.

He was also at camp in March with 28-year-old Lawrence Okoli, the 2016 Olympian who defeated 35-year-old Krzysztof Glowecki to win the WBO cruiserweight title.

This caught the attention of Joshua, who welcomed Parwani with open arms and never shied away from revealing business tricks.

Parwani revealed: “The camp was really nice, such a humble man, a common man in the street.

“He is a great champion with great characteristics not only in the ring but also outside the ring.

“I’m happy to be here as part of the team, as part of the camp because I’ve learned a lot from AJ in and out of the ring.”

Parwani in particular was blown away by AJ’s footwork and competition in the ring as well as learning when he was out of class.

He said: “Inside the ring I was very surprised. He is very calm, there is actually a lot of peace in the ring and you think how calm he is.

“He knows what he’s doing, his footwork is great and he has so much speed for a heavyweight, it’s unbelievable.

“He’s thinking about everything and he practices a lot, he’s a very dedicated person.

“Even after training he wants to learn more and it impressed me because I want to be world champion in future and that is my goal in boxing.

“Train with the best and be the best one day. It was a great experience for my future.”
