Developed by Marmalade Games, the title brings to life the board game from the 1995 film as a four-player adventure, either with AI or other players. It also adds a series of mini games based on events from the film.
A trailer for the game can be seen below:
Film locations – including the parish mansion attic, the shoe factory, and Sir-Sau-a-Lot – are also in play. Players will need to work together in co-op to bring the invading jungle back to the board game through real-time battles and decisions. If the jungle creatures defeat the player, that area of the city will be destroyed. As in the original film, the game ends in a win by reaching the center of the board.
Games Website Reads: “Each round you’ll work together, matching the right objects from your stash with those needed to send the dangers back to the board. Encounter crocodiles, elephants, rhinos, and more Do this, as well as encounter creeping jungle vines that will try to trap you all.”

In other news, a Minecraft The mod eventually makes the plants actually 3D, rather than just being flat 2D textures. More additions are coming over time, as it is set to improve the game’s flora.
