Kanye West outlines plan to tackle homelessness in Los Angeles

Kanye West is working on a plan to help the homeless population of Los Angeles, it has been reported.

According to tmz, the rapper has joined forces with philanthropic organizations to tackle the problem in the California city. It is said that he recently sat down with the Reverend Troy Vaughan, CEO of the homeless charity Mission, to outline four ways he can help.

The ‘Donda’ artist wants to continue providing food to the homeless by partnering with various charities in LA. Additionally, he is looking at using his companies to provide education, jobs and housing to those in need.

West also hopes to use his platform and Sunday service series to highlight this issue as well as uplift the homeless community.

Ultimately, he wants to team up with other groups and combine his efforts to advocate for the homeless. Through the work, West is aiming to eradicate the homelessness crisis completely.

Last week, you gave 1000 Meals to the L.A. Mission, which aims to “break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, by stabilizing people in a safe and spiritual environment, connecting them to solutions, and following them on their journey.”

It is believed that he met Vaughan at the same time.

According to data from the LA Misson website, 63,706 people in Los Angeles are currently experiencing homelessness. Of these, three out of four are shelterless, while the number of homeless people aged 62 and above has increased by 20 percent.

Kanye West vowed to “fix homelessness and hunger” in America during his 2020 presidential campaign last November. “We will cure hunger,” he wrote on Twitter at the time. “People are sleeping in the parking lot.”

He said: “I was just talking to someone who told me their life story and they used to be homeless. We must and will cure the homelessness and hunger that we have as a species. ,

Back in 2019, you built the prototype for an ambitious housing project to reduce homelessness in LA. However, the structure of the dome was torn down after the rapper was accused of not having the proper permits.

Last year, West shared plans to build an eco-village and children’s farm using the same domes.
