Twitter is a platform that introduces you to the thoughts of your favorite celebrities… and their language choices. A 2021 study took a look at recent tweets to find out who swears the most. Take a look at Kevin Hart and some of the other famous faces topping the list.
A study examined Twitter accounts to track the celebrities who swear the most
A recent study took a look at the tweets of Hart and several other celebrities to determine who curses the most online.
Place MrQ Recently studied the online behavior of 246 celebrities. They chose public figures based on the number of followers they had and whether they were known for hate speech. After combing up to 3,200 of the most recent tweets for each account, they were able to rank celebrities based on the people who swear the most.
The study also examined 63 swear words and forms. The surprisingly high number of possible words also allowed them to rank the most commonly used curses among a group of celebrities.
Kevin Hart tops the list of most pornographic celebrities
Perhaps no surprise to anyone who follows him, Hart takes home the prize for using the most profanity on Twitter. According to the study, he has uttered an astonishing 954 abusive words in his recent tweets. In many of his tweets, Hart has used a mix of abusive words. He usually works the F-bomb, though. This word was the most used of all celebrities.
Though he hasn’t come under criticism for his colorful language, he was in hot water when previous homophobic tweets surfaced again.
Brandi Glanville represents reality stars on the list
Behind Hart with 946 Oath is Brandi Glanville. Glanville proves his penchant for strong language on his podcast not filtered, where she uncensors everything that comes into her head. NS The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Alum will also appear on the incoming real housewives Mashup Series. There, fans can see her using her expressive language while she, like the other former Housewives, lives under one roof.
50 Cent is the musician who swears the most
Coming in at number three is rapper 50 Cent. He has used a total of 742 oaths, which puts him slightly behind Hart and Glanville. 50 Cent uses their platform to promote their Cognac brand in every single tweet.
He proved his devotion to profanity outside of Twitter as well. After the performance in St. Kitts, the rapper approached the police. According to 50 Cent, they arrested him for using profanity in his songs.
Cardi B is the most swearing female rapper
Cardi B has made it to the top 4, although her swearing count is significantly lower than the others. The study counted 480 abusive words in her post. Although the music artist has admitted that she likes to use abusive language, her daughter Kulcher doesn’t want to hear it.
“I can’t even curse anymore, culture be like ‘don’t say that mom don’t say that!!” the rapper tweeted. “Like I can’t even say a damn.”
