A killer, who tried to get out of the house on Tuesday to identify a 21-year-old man who committed suicide, was asked for help early Sunday in a car on the highway exit ramp.
Initially, Fort Worth police believed they were responding to a traffic accident on the exit ramp from Interstate 20 to Crowley Road.
But once they arrived, officers found a man who had been shot and was unconscious.
Fort Worth Police identified the victim as Patrick Boone of Fort Worth. He He was taken to a local hospital, where he died.
Police responded to the call at around 1am on Sunday. Boone was found in a blue Dodge Nitro.
According to surveillance video and witnesses, Boo was traveling north on Interstate 35W from the area of Sichmore School and Crowley streets.
Detectives believe Boone was being followed from the area of Crowley and Sycamore School streets.
