Kim Kardashian is apparently feeling calm ahead of her “Saturday Night Live” hosting debut.

The comedy sketch show released its first promo for its October 9 episode on Thursday, and it features the reality star laughing at any possibility of being nervous about the gig.

Kardashian, sandwiched between singer Halsey, this Saturday night’s musical guest, and cast member Cecily Strong, announced that she is “hosting ‘SNL’ with Halsey this week.”

“So Kim are you worried about doing sketch comedy?” Strong asks the founder of SKIMS, to which she replies, “Why? I don’t need to sketch, do I?” When she’s told “no,” the KKW Beauty founder asks if she “has to remember the lines?” “No, there are cue cards,” Halsey replies.

“Won’t everyone else look as good as me?” The Kardashians also ask, to which Strong says, “No, not at all.”

“It’s so simple,” Kardashian laughs again.

Also, there are strong jokes in the promo about the possibility of the trio becoming a girl group.

“Oh my god, this crazy idea happened to me right now at this very moment. Should we start our own girl group? She asks.

“Not at all,” Halsey replies.

“We already said that when you pitched backstage,” Kardashian quipped.

“Well, you can hear me. I wasn’t sure because security put me in a headlock,” Strong says.

Kardashian’s “SNL” hosting debut was made in September, leaving some fans and even stars scratching their heads. the former “will and graceActress Debra Messing made headlines for a tweet about Kardashian’s upcoming appearance. “Why Kim Kardashian? I mean, I know she’s a cultural icon, but hosts on SNL are, generally, artists who are there to promote a movie, TV show or album launch.” she wrote. “Am I forgetting something?”

Messing isn’t far off that Kardashian’s lack of a current project made her one of the other three who were announced to host “SNL” Season 47. NBC also announced Owen Wilson, Rami Malek and Jason Sudeikis. Seasons, all of which have new movies and/or shows to promote.

Wilson and musical guest Casey Musgraves starred in the Season 47 premiere episode last week and the opener reportedly struggled rating. According to recently released Nielsen figures, the October 2 premiere episode attracted a total of 4.9 million viewers compared to the season 46 premiere (in 2020), which attracted over 8.2 million viewers.
