JURGEN KLOPP raged against those in charge of fixture scheduling as he revealed several first-team players will miss Saturday’s clash with Watford.
Liverpool visit Vicarage Road in the lunchtime kick-off and face a trip to Atletico Madrid on Tuesday, who have no games this weekend.
That fact has upset Klopp, but not as much as Thursday night’s decision to play the game between Brazil and Uruguay.
As a result, Brazilians would not be able to play against Fabinho and Alisson Watford – they would instead fly directly to Madrid.
In his pre-match press conference, Klopp said: “Someone decided to give Brazil a chance to play last night.
“And then someone decided to play for us on Saturday at 12:30. It’s not in our hands.
“Atletico [Madrid] Not playing over the weekend and they are our next opponents in the Champions League. This does not happen here.
“We have known this for some time so we have decided that the boys will not be here and they will go straight to Madrid.

“Trent [Alexander-Arnold] and diogo [Jota] are available but thiago i don’t know. It takes time and it’s frustrating so we’ll have to wait.
“Curtis Jones is back from the England U21s with a minor injury and is unavailable.”
Klopp will at least be able to welcome Trent Alexander-Arnold into the squad after missing the Manchester City match.
And the absence gives the German to test fringe players like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, whose lack of playing time has led to talk of a return to Arsenal.
Young goalkeeper Kaomhin Kelleher could also be given a rare chance to impress after having done well last season.
