Larry Kudlow: A month or two ago I would have said they could jam it, but that’s not happening. And Munchkin and Cinema are doing a good job. I like both of them. Munchkin doesn’t want to spend and do the cinema, so they make a really cute couple, and they’re holding the fort pretty well. Now, I don’t want to spend any more money, okay? I don’t care if it’s a trillion five or a trillion, I don’t want to spend any more money. But I give him credit and I give very important credit to Munchkin for two things. Number one, this clean power emergency stuff display. He’s taking it out because he’s from West Virginia. That would have been a carbon-free electric grid by 2035, which would devastate this country if we ever did. And number two, he insists on the rights of the present and the future, that they be means-tested and that they have the work to be hired. These are important principles. And as Rand Paul just said, it’s a lot more important than the top-line numbers, which will be called out and gimmicked as they try to spend in three to five years what they’d love to spend in 10. And will make it permanent. What matters is the policy material on the Green New Deal, on social welfare, on entitlement.
