“The industry just isn’t giving the audience what it thinks the audience wants”

The actor, who made history as the first female 007 Agent Nomi in the upcoming film, has revealed who could play Bond after Daniel Craig’s exit from the franchise.

asked by Guardian Will she handle herself, Lynch responds: “No! You don’t want me! I’m just like, ‘Erm, okay, so where do you start again?'”
Lynch further stated that Bond could be played by a man or a woman in the future, adding that audiences are now being surprised more often in cinema.
“We are in a time where the industry is simply not giving the audience what it thinks the audience wants,” she said. “What are they really giving to the audience They want to give to the audience. With Bond, it can be male or female. They can be white, black, Asian, mixed race. They can be young or old.
“At the end of the day, even if a two-year-old is playing Bond, everyone flocks to the cinema to see what this two-year-old is going to do, no?”
