KBS 2TV’s “River When the Moon Rises” released more stills ahead of tonight’s episode!

A reinterpretation of a classic Goguryeo folk tale, “River When the Moon Rises” is a new drama, which depicts the famous love story of Princess Pyonggang (Kim Soo Hyun) and On Dal (Ji Soo).

Pyonggang was born as the princess of Goguryeo, but after losing her memories as a child, she grew up as the killer Yom Ga Jin. In the previous episode, Yom Ga Jin was ordered to assassinate the King of Goguryeo and his real father, King Pyongwon (Kim Boop Rae), for his final mission as an assassin. Goguryeo’s top general Go Jeon (Lee Ji Hoon) protected the king and pursued Yeom Ga Jin, but he eventually abandoned her.

In the new stills, Yeom Ga Jin and Go Geon meet once again. Yom Ga Jin firmly holds a dagger, his weapon of choice, unwilling to return. Jae Gyeon blocked his attack completely as he unleashed a fancy sword. Unlike her first meeting, Yeom Ga Jin did not cover her face this time, leaving viewers wondering if Go Gon would realize that she was in fact Pyonggang, which she had known since she was younger.

The producers of the play commented, “Yom Ga Jin will embark on his journey to discover his identity. Go Gyeon, who considers Pyonggang as his everything, will be an important part of this process. Please be prepared for the changes that will come after they are received. “

The sequel to “River When the Moon Rises” will air on February 22 at 9:30 pm KST.
