Jesse Lingard has mocked his Manchester United teammates for encouraging them to celebrate their winner against West Ham.
The 28-year-old England winger was reluctant to honor his surprise strike and has likened the incident to ‘forcing him to talk to a girl’.

The meme featured Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes and Harry Maguire pushing the match winner towards happy Man Utd fans.
Lingard came up with the post with a laughing emoji as he joked a little with his 8.6 million Instagram followers.
The Man Utd star spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham and enjoyed significant success at the London Stadium.
Lingard scored nine goals in 16 Premier League appearances for the Hammers – his best love comeback – to help them qualify for Europe.
West Ham are reportedly keen to re-sign the player, who has one year left on his Old Trafford contract.

Lingard’s goal gave Man Utd a 2-1 lead in the 89th minute and they remained on all three points after Mark Noble missed a penalty in extra time.
Speaking to Premier League Productions after the match, Red Devils striker Michael Owen reprimanded Lingard for not celebrating the goal.
He added: “I can’t believe the players didn’t celebrate when they scored against their old club, it was only two minutes away.”
But Lingard was pleased with his winner, telling the press: “I’m over the moon.
“I got a great welcome when I arrived, I had a great time at West Ham but I have to move on and do my best for Man United.
“I have been working hard and it was not easy to overcome last week but today it was great to get a few minutes and score.”
