christmas songs have begun
Ariana Grande and Kelly Clarkson have teamed up on a new Christmas song, ‘Santa, Can You Hear Me’ — watch it below.
It Comes Kelly released her new holiday album, ‘When Christmas Comes Around’ on Friday (October 15).
The album features a collaboration with Grande that you can listen to here:
Back in September, Clarkson did a live cover of Depeche Mode’s “Enjoy the Silence” for her show, The Kelly Clarkson Show.
Performed during the ‘Kellyok’ segment of the show, Clarkson’s short cover of a synthpop track remains largely true to the band’s core.
The artist has released a series of covers on his show. This year alone, she has made appearances in Olivia Rodrigo’s “Drivers License”, Charli XCX’s “Boom Clap”, Tears for Fears’ “Mad World” and Foo Fighters’ “Times Like These”, among others.
Meanwhile, Grande announced earlier this month that she would give up to $5 million (£3.6 million) in free therapy in conjunction with World Mental Health Day.
Posting to Instagram on October 10, Grande revealed that she has teamed up with the mental health platform better help For the giveaway, which she says is “just a small gesture.”
“I acknowledge that there are very real barriers to access to mental health resources,” she wrote, “and while this is only a small gesture (and remains a huge systemic problem) I wanted to do it again. @betterhelp In hopes of bringing access to a few more people and perhaps inspiring some of you to try something new and prioritize your own treatment,” Grande said.
In May of this year, Grande talked about “ending the stigma” about seeking help in a social media post she created for Mental Health Awareness Month.
