The terrifying anthem is taken from the Detroit duo’s upcoming new album ‘Yum Yum Bedlam,’ due out October 31 via their own Psychopathic Records. It is their first since 2019’s “Fearless Fred Fury”, and follows more recent EPs: “You Produce (ICP’s House Party Peep Show)” and “Yum Yums Lure”.

Violent J opens the track: “(I am wretched) An animal not to see with eyes / (I am wretched) born six hundred sixty six AD / I am wretched) All those people performed the last rites, disregarded.

He continues: “(I’m wretched) outside covered in blood and naked I dance and scream / (I’m wretched) dead bodies float under the bloody stream / (I’m wretched) the preacher cried, fell to his knees to pray / (I’m wretched) Each eyeball melted, leaking from his face.

You can listen to the cut below:

Speaking about the track with Rolling stone, Violent J said: “I was inspired to write ‘Wretched’ because, to put it this way, there’s Hollywood madness like the Riddler, where it’s almost as good, or Hannibal Lecter, or Michael Myers. And then there There’s a type of madness that’s so bad it’s not good at all. And that’s ‘wretched'”

Earlier this year, the ICP announced plans to go on a farewell tour in 2022 due to Violent J’s health issues. He shared the news with fans at his annual Gathering of the Juggalos in Ohio in August.

Meanwhile, the two have recently gone viral on Tiktok with two songs in Lakhan Mein plays.

The songs ‘Chop Chop Slide’ and ‘In My Room’ have been used on Tiktok and now their views have reached close to 20 lakhs.
