Robin and Ohlund have previously collaborated together on the prior albums ‘Robin’ (2005) and ‘Body Talk’ (2010).
Robin said in a statement about the track, “I love the song ‘Call My Name,’ and it was a true pleasure to record it and walk around in this beautiful song together with Joachim and Bjorn.”
Ohlund continued: “We’ve been knocking the song for a long time, but when Robin sang it, he really took it to another level. His vocals are just so full of emotion.”
“Call My Name is a simple song about unconditional love, and the desire to try and protect the one you love from a chaotic and dangerous outside world,” Yetling said.
“Yes, I think in the case of me and Björn when we wrote the song we were both directing the words to a child, but I guess one can imagine that it was meant to be to a lover or to any person. Can also be sung about which you feel strongly.”
Earlier this week, the Boston Red Sox baseball team scored a crucial victory by singing along to Robin’s “Dancing on My Own” in the dressing room.
