St. Vincent shares the soundtrack for him and Carrie Brownstein’s new mockumentary nowhere inn – See it below.

The film, which sees Annie Clark playing a fictionalized, satirical version of herself, was released on Friday (September 17), and the soundtrack followed.
The 19-song soundtrack, previewed last week by the title track “The Nowhere Inn,” features a series of sketches and scores, along with several complete songs.
The song titles for ‘The Nowhere Inn’ include ‘Carry Wave’, ‘Carry Off Bus’ and ‘Carry Voicemail’, referencing the film’s co-producer.

Speaking about the new film in an interview with DiversityClarke said: “It was an incredibly warm and welcoming way to make my first foray into acting, as it was a script I co-wrote with my best friend, and to play my own version. .
“So it was as soft a landing as one can get. But it can also be hard not to keep some distance.”
Co-written, produced, by – and starring – the two musicians, the collaborative project was first announced in April 2019, when the pair engaged in a series of mock interview segments in promotion of St. Vincent’s 2017 album, ‘MASSEDUCTION’ Had happened.
After premiering at Sundance Film Festival 2020, nowhere inn, directed by Bill Benz, has been given both a cinematic release and is aired on Apple TV+.
St. Vincent released his most recent album, ‘Daddy’s Home’, in May. Granthshala The four-star review called it “her hottest album ever”.
