Noah Yorke, son of Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, has released a new song titled ‘Trying Too Hard (Lullaby)’ – you can listen to it below.

It is the first single Noah has released using his own name, after releasing music under the moniker Alec Owen last year. ‘Fatal’ album.

With a texture similar to Radiohead’s 2007 album ‘In Rainbow’, ‘Trying Too Hard (Lullaby)’ features a haunting arrangement that caught the attention of Radiohead guitarist Johnny Greenwood.


Sharing the link to the song, Greenwood tweeted, “Kor, what great music – first time I heard this today and I was so impressed.” “Good job, Noah.” You can see the tweet below.

Earlier this week it was announced that Thom Yorke of Radiohead would co-host a new artwork exhibition in London, based on the band’s upcoming re-issues of “Kid A” and “Amnesiac”.

The frontman, along with artist Stanley Donwood of the band’s album cover artwork, will host an exhibition titled ‘How to Completely Disappear’ from October 9-15 at Christie’s headquarters in the capital.


Dawnwood is selling six large-scale paintings created for ‘Kid A’ along with illustrations, lyrics and digital art created around this era in the band’s history.

Meanwhile, Radiohead has revealed the official music video of their recently shared song ‘If You Say The Word’.

“If You Say The Word,” which was not released before the early 2000s, was shared earlier this month to announce “Kid a Mnesia,” which would be “Kid A” and “Amnesiac.” There is a new triple album celebrating 20 years of K.

Along with the re-issue of the two albums, Radiohead will also release ‘Kid Amnesia’, an album of unreleased rarities from the era, including ‘If You Say the Word’.
