She said she was excited to share her journey with her family and others on social media.

“He maintained regular contact with his family members during his travels, however, communication suddenly stopped in late August,” the police chief said.

August 12: Moab, Utah, police had an encounter with the couple on August 12, where officers described them as “engaging in some sort of dispute.”

Although the two were described as engaging in a physical fight after an argument, “the man and the woman both stated that they were in love and engaged to be married and no one was charged with the crime.” Want to see,” said a report from Officer Eric Pratt.

According to the report, at the suggestion of officials, the couple separated for the night, which Petito described as “confused and emotional”.

Officer Daniel Robbins wrote in the report, “After evaluating the totality of the circumstances, I do not think the situation has escalated to the level of domestic assault, as much as a mental health crisis.” No charges were leveled.

The report said the couple had their cell phone with them in case of an emergency.

In a 911 audio recording from that day provided by the Grand County Sheriff’s Office, a caller tells the dispatch he wants to report a domestic dispute and describes a white van with a Florida license plate.

The caller said they were driving, “The gentleman was slapping the girl.”

“Then we stopped,” said the caller. “They ran up and down the sidewalk. He proceeded to hit her, jumped in the car and off they went.”

Aug 17: Laundry flew from Salt Lake City to Tampa, Florida on August 17, according to Steven Bertolino, attorney for the Laundry family.

Bartolino told Granthshala, Laundry “flyed home to get some stuff and emptied and closed the storage unit to save money.”

August 23: Returning to Salt Lake City to rejoin Laundry Petito, the lawyer said, “To my knowledge, Brian and Gabby paid for the flights because they were sharing expenses.”

September 19: The remains were found in Wyoming’s Bridger-Teton National Forest. Three days later, the FBI in Denver Confirmed that the remains belonged to Petito.
