Married at First Sight Australia’s Bryce Ruthven is set to become the “most hated groom ever” as the show faces a major scandal.
Bryce and Melissa Rawson’s relationship begins with a fairytale wedding – but the Groom’s co-stars quickly get over that.
Some people even refused to film scenes with him because of his antics on the show.
Once Down Under aired, the drama sparked an official investigation from the Australian Communications and Media Authority.
“Bryce went to the show for a little fun, hopefully to find love and give a little boost to his radio career,” a source said.
“Instead, he destroyed his reputation, became the show’s most hated groom ever and was involved in endless scandals. At one point it was dubbed ‘The Bryce Show’ by the on-set crew.” “
Since the season aired in Australia, Bryce has claimed that the producers “deliberately went out of their way to create the story” and portrayed him negatively.
He has also been diagnosed with serious concerns he said have “ruined” his radio career and considered taking legal action against the show.
The series was filmed during the coronavirus pandemic and aired in Australia between February and April this year.
The first episode aired last night in the UK and within minutes Melissa appeared on screen for the first time and accepted a huge bang.
The unlucky-in-love hen was shivering in the car on her way into the night as she admitted that she had never been on a date in her entire life.
