Police have arrested a person in connection with the stabbing of a woman Primrose Hill.
Officers were called shortly before 1 p.m. on Sunday to report a disturbance at a flat on Broxwood Way.
The woman was declared brought dead at the scene.
His family has been informed, and post-mortem and formal identification will be done in due course.
Officers arrested 40-year-old Jason Bell after launching a search operation to find him.
A tweet from the Met read: “We appealed for help in locating 40-year-old Jason Bell, wanted in connection with the death of a woman at Primrose Hill.
“He was traced and arrested on suspicion of murder.
“Our condolences are with the woman’s family.”
It came on the day a woman was arrested on suspicion of murdering a 51-year-old man in Chelsfield Lane, Orpington.
Men and women are believed to have known each other. No one else is yet to be found in connection with the murder.
