A man died after “unrest” at a restaurant on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Inverkithing, Scotland, at around 4.35pm yesterday, where they found the 44-year-old seriously injured.
The man was taken to Victoria Hospital for treatment but he died after some time.
Images from the scene show emergency workers lining the street, as frightened members of the public watch, Daily record report.
The authorities have arrested one person in connection with the incident and interrogation is on.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “On Friday, 17 September 2021 at approximately 4.35 pm, officers were called to reports of a 44-year-old man being seriously injured following a disturbance at a restaurant in High Street, Inverkithing Was.
“Emergency services attended and he was taken by ambulance to Victoria Hospital, Kirkaldy, where he died sometime later.
“One person has been arrested in connection with the incident and interrogation is on.”
