A shocking attack and robbery was caught on camera inside a building in the Bronx. The whole incident happened in front of someone waiting for the lift.


The NYPD says it happened around 2:10 p.m. Saturday in a building on 165th Street in the Morrisania section of the Bronx.

A 53-year-old man was riding a bike in the lift when one of the attackers hit him in the back of the head with a brick.

Losing consciousness, an assailant threw him to the ground.

The second attacker kicked the victim in the face and then they tore her pants to get her wallet and phone.

Then they ran out of the building and were not caught.

EMS took the victim to NYC Health & Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition. It was not clear whether he has been discharged from the hospital.

The NYPD says officers are looking for two black men in their 20s. They were both wearing hooded sweaters and were carrying backpacks.
