New York – A 61-year-old man was killed when a 25-year-old jumped off the roof of a building in an apparent suicide.
It happened on Monday at 77 Locust Hill Avenue.
Yonkers police say the distraught man jumped off the roof of the 12-story Cromwell Towers building onto the roof of a concrete parking garage. The other man was apparently on the roof and was killed.

Both the youths died on the spot.
Investigators interviewed witnesses and family members and reviewed surveillance videos.
He called it a “tragic situation” and said the investigation was on.
“Yonkers and the Yonkers Police Department express their deepest condolences to the families of both men,” police said in a statement.
