Police was called there first on the information of a dispute in a house. When the officers arrived, the 44-year-old man first climbed on the roof of the house.
After officers try to talk to him from the terrace, they say he went to a nearby tree and climbed dozens of feet above the ground and has been lying there since and sleeping in the tree all night long.

The NYPD says it’s still expecting him to wait outside so he’ll come down on his own. They have set up an area around the tree and have closed the road.
The man’s name has not been released.
