Marcus Rashford has revealed he could return to light contact training by the end of the week after surgery for a long-standing shoulder injury in August.
The Manchester United striker took to Twitter on Friday to tell fans about his consolation with the doctor and how he can return to training if all goes well.
His tweet read: ‘Happy Monday. I see the doctor on Friday for a consultation. All is well, I will get the green signal to join the contact training again.’

Manchester United confirmed that Rashford will be going under the knife after a short holiday and will be away from football in July.
He explained how both the club and the players felt that this was the right time to address the ongoing issue with their shoulders.
He also outlined how Rashford had been battling the problem ever since he developed a muscle sore in November.
