Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan As it nears completion, they reveal more of their mega-mansion.
TV star Mark is busy building a dream home for himself and 34-year-old Michelle in the Essex countryside this year.
And the mega-money mansion is finally taking shape, when the couple decided to tear down the Victorian property that originally stood on the plot of land.
Mark visited fans via the building site on Instagram of the couple dedicated to building their home.
He walked outside the building, telling his followers that it was “a really busy day at the site today.”
The perimeter fence was going up while the scaffolding outside the house was coming down, which Mark described as “exciting.”
As he passed the temporary fence, Mark showed several businessmen busy at work and greeted them as in the past.
He scanned around the front of the property, revealing another house on the side from the original property he had purchased prior to development.
“They’re all clearing a lot of paths so we can start leveling and crushing it,” he explained in the video.
Mark then took fans into the foyer through the makeshift plywood front doors.
“We’re still plastering,” he explained as the camera scanned to show the wooden frame of the house’s stairs.
One tradition was plastering the ceiling as Mark zoomed into the ceiling again to show “them speakers”.
He then moved to the back of the ground floor, which featured an impressive floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the couple’s expansive garden.
“Now we are choosing paint colors,” explained the radio presenter as he showed several paint samples on the wall.
The couple were choosing between different shades of white, gray and cream.
“Where do we start,” said an overwhelmed Mark.
Mark and actress Michelle had already shared their architect’s gorgeous design for the house on Instagram.
He revealed that it will be a palatial house with an outdoor pool, large Granthshala terrace and spacious gardens.
Resembling the Beverly Hills mansion at The Bodyguard, the dream home, built of white stone, is covered with gray roof tiles.
Meanwhile, landscaping has also begun at the back of the house – thanks to a large swimming pool surrounded by Marbella-style cabanas.
Their five-bed mansion looks like it will be completed soon, as the couple has sold their old house and moved out.
The construction has taken over a year due to the COVID restrictions that halted the construction process on more than one occasion.
