The cast of The Married At First Sight is left open in tonight’s reunion episode when Morag reveals that husband Luke ghosted her after the show.
The 31-year-old vet stuns her classmates when she comes to the show alone, in which she and 36-year-old Luke endure a tumultuous relationship throughout the series.
Gasping when the other stars attend the solo reunion this evening, Morag exclaims out loud: “I know, big blow!”
When asked about her husband, she replies: “It was long and short, the moment I left the experiment so far, Luke didn’t call me once.”
The other girls are clearly in shock, with Megan saying: “Luke never called you?!” While Amy gasps: “I can’t believe it because he came across as a guy who put in all the effort.”
Morag insists: “No, it’s not like that at all.”
Looking backstage, expert Mel Schilling shares his own disbelief, reacting: “To completely cut off all communication and ghost him… is disrespectful,” but Paul Carrick Brunson reminds him. : “That’s his side of the story.”
Morag later admitted: “I’m nervous about tonight and hearing their side of the story compared to mine because I don’t think they’ll add up.”
Viewers were stunned during last week’s finale that Morag and Luke decided to stay married and renew their vows, with Morag previously criticizing her husband and calling him “more masculine”.
She also stated that they did not have “sexual relations”, at first lamenting that she was “bored” during their marriage.
The couple also clashed during their honeymoon, and the home stay was part of the experiment – Morag’s friends at the time said that Luke was not right for her.
Fans of the show will have to tune in to tonight’s reunion to hear Luke’s side of the story.
