The Grudge match between Jorge Masvidal and Britt Leon Edwards is officially scheduled to take place on December 11.
It has been confirmed that the pair will clash at UFC 269 in Las Vegas.
It has been three years since the two rivals got into a fight backstage at an event in London in March 2019.
Both Masvidal and Edwards have continued to verbalize since then, with the Englishman being recently dubbed a ‘coward’ by Gamebred, but have so far not competed against each other inside the octagon.
Now the much awaited match will take place in two months.
The fight will form part of the main card which is already shaping up to be a steep night of action.
UFC 269 is due to see Charles Oliveira take on Dustin Poirier for the lightweight title.
Amanda Nunes and Juliana Pea will face off for the women’s bantamweight title.

And now Masvidal and Edwards have also joined.
That means the flyweight belt showdown between Brandon Moreno and Deveson Figueredo is set to be pushed back to UFC 270 on January 22.
Francis Nganou will face Cyril Gain for the undisputed heavyweight crown at that event.
Derek Brunson will also face Jared Cannonnier.
