The incident in Mathura’s Farah town was a quarrel between the husband and wife four days ago, followed by a reconciliation between the two on Tuesday.
In Farah town of Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh (UP), a businessman allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself by killing his step-son and wife. Police has sent all three bodies for postmortem. On Sunday evening, neighbors informed the police that there was no movement in his house. On reaching the police spot, the bodies of mother and son were lying on the bed. Foam was coming out of the son’s mouth, while there were marks on the mother’s neck and the businessman’s body was hanging from the fan.
Ramesh Prasad Bhardwaj, in-charge of Farah’s police station, said, “Neeraj Aggarwal (35), son of Shahi Sarai, a water tank, used to shop for Raghuveer Prasad’s groceries. Three years ago Neeraj was married to Reema (35), daughter of Rajkumar, a resident of Khandari, Agra. Reema had a 10-year-old son from her first husband. The police investigated and sent the three dead bodies for postmortem.
Reema’s mother Radha Aggarwal told that there was a fight between her daughter-in-law four days ago. After that, there was a reconciliation to come here on Tuesday. SP City Martand Prakash Singh said that at first glance it seems that the businessman has committed suicide after killing both. Police is investigating all aspects.
