Shocked McDonald’s fans have slammed the new double Big Mac for the “shameful” lack of a key ingredient.
The giant burger hits restaurants and fast food lovers on October 6th in a rush to try it.
But after McDonald’s posted a video of a double Big Mac, some people have a bitter taste in their mouths.
Burger lovers have scoffed at the chain for including just one slice of cheese for four patties.
One said: “A slice of cheese on four burgers is embarrassing.”
Another wrote: “Hardly a double Big Mac, at least throw another piece of cheese in there.”
A third angrily said: “It’s a shame it only has one piece of cheese in it, so much drier than a typical Big Mac.”
While one person wrote: “A small piece of cheese for four boxes?!? Are you kidding this”.
McDonald’s on Wednesday unveiled its new limited menu at restaurants across the country.
A double Big Mac costs £4.19 by itself or £5.69 as a medium meal with a side and drink.
It includes four 100% beef patties, a slice of cheese, lettuce, onions and pickles, and Big Mac sauce.
Other new items include Crunchy McFlurry from 99p and Nacho Cheese Wedges from £1.89.
They replace the Big Tasty, Chicken BBQ Smokehouse and Mozzarella Dippers that joined the limited-edition menu in August.
But the items are only for six weeks, so fans will have to hurry to try them out.
