Stockport-born Michelle, 34, believes it’s “a northern thing.”
She said: “I’m a massive, massive eater. Food is life for me. From the moment I wake up to the time I go to bed, I’ve been thinking about my meals The first thought for me when I wake up? Cup of tea. Biscuit.
“For us northerners, it’s morning tea and biscuits—you like a rich tea or custard cream. That’s great. It wakes up my taste buds. Then I go for the savory option. Always start with dessert, Then we go to Delicious.”
Michelle — who launched a fitness clothing brand with hunky husband Mark Wright, 34 — admits she’s broken all the Golden Dieting rules.
Speaking on the Off Menu podcast, she said: “I’m quite bad at snacking late at night, so I’m actually quite full from the night before, if I’m being honest. At times salty or over the top like crisps. Toast is accompanied by a piece of ham.”
When it comes to chip sandwiches, Michelle is picky.
She said: “I want really good sticky chips, obviously — with lots and lots of salt and vinegar.
“And then I want a portion of curry sauce, a portion of gravy, and some mayonnaise. I want a thick slice of Warburton bread, thick with LurPak.”
