Michigan police investigating after multiple people shot at Oxford High School

On Tuesday, someone opened fire and shot four to six people at a high school north of Detroit, although no deaths were confirmed, officials said.

Police responded at around 12:55 p.m. to reports of an active shooter at Oxford High School in Oxford Township, a suburb north of Detroit.

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office said the suspected shooter was arrested and a handcuff was recovered, saying it did not think there was more than one attacker.

The sheriff’s office said four to six people were injured, but no casualties were reported.

It was not immediately clear whether the injured were students.
