It is a shocking moment when tube passengers were forced to step in to protect a woman after she was abused by a passenger.

In the stand-off, an aggressive miscreant is seen yelling at a young woman in a car on the Central Line.

It is not clear what sparked the controversy on the eastbound train, but the man shouts at other passengers before walking towards the woman.

She can be heard shouting “come again” and accusing her of “hiding behind the fact that you are a woman”.

He said: “Come, step near me, step towards me, step towards me. I dare you, I f*** I’m afraid.”

Then he calls her “p***y” where she lives and isn’t moving towards her.

He then says: “Oh, I’m such a terrible man because I said I’d hit you in the face.”

It’s unclear how the woman responds, but he then turns to her, saying: “I’ll f*** out you c***.”

The woman smiles at him and says: “If you can ac*** me, I’ll call you ac***.”

He is then caught on camera, who lands in the middle of the car and stares at it.

Then several passengers jump out of their seats and drag the man away from him and onto the ground.

No one has been arrested as the police did not get information about the incident.

A spokesman for the British Transport Police said: “We are aware of this video being circulated on social media and our officers are looking forward to it.

“We are asking anyone to message us on 61016 with reference 681 dated 16/10/21 with more details.

“Violence, abuse, threats and harassment in any form against women and girls will not be tolerated.

“It’s really important that people who see incidents like this report to us as soon as possible so that we can investigate as quickly as possible.”
