A mother has been charged with murdering her children, who were beheaded.
Natalie Brothwell, 44, was charged with two counts of murder and two counts of child endangerment in connection with the deaths of her son and daughter.
Malaika Taylor, 13, and Maurice Taylor Jr., 12, were found dead at their home about 70 miles north of Los Angeles on December 4, 2020.
Brothwell was arrested Tuesday from his new home in Tucson.
He was held in Pima County Jail for extradition to California.
Her husband, Maurice Taylor, 35, was already in custody and charges were filed in connection with her death.
Despite Zoom training sessions scheduled by clients of Taylor, a personal trainer, deputies were called home when they didn’t listen to her.
He allegedly kept the dead bodies home for the day and showed their bodies to his two other sons, who were 8 and 9 years old at the time.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further information is available, homicide detective said in a statement.
