The mental health specialist, who was also on her way to work, said she lost her cool when she ruthlessly refused and laughed at him.

Sherlyn gets back to her £80,000 motor, turns it on and pushes it into an eco enthusiast to try to get it out of its way in Purfleet, Essex.

They eventually left but on 11 October Sherlyn’s usual ten-minute journey took 45 minutes and both she and son Terrell were late.

Sherlyn from Grace, Essex, told yesterday: “When I got out of the car, I walked up to him and I said, really well and politely, ‘Can you please get out of the way because I have to get my son? Got for school and I have to go to work’.

“And one woman was very rude and said ‘Yeah, everyone has to take their kids to school’.

“She then said ‘we’re not moving’ and laughed and just really p***ed me up.

“Finally I said ‘Okay then, I’m going to drive over you if you’re not going to move’. So I got in my car and I went to them.

“But I didn’t hit them, I nudged them softly on the road. It was an intimidation tactic. I thought they would move on, but they didn’t.”

Sherlyn, who was a youth activist for seven years before setting up a consulting and consulting business, said she would never hurt anyone and is not violent.

He said: “I shouldn’t have let anger overwhelm me, but they put me to the side.

“What they are doing is wrong. They are not peaceful, they are obstructive and they are harsh.

“I’m upset that I’ve lost my temper and I may have gone about it a different way, but I will always stand up for what I believe in – that people should live their normal lives.” There should be a right to live.

“And I stood up for all the moms who are trying to get their kids to school.”

She continued: “Education is very important and we just went through a pandemic. My son had a lot of time outside of school.

“Seven years is really important. His first year of secondary school. He is an intelligent student and is doing well academically.

“And I have an important job. I’m a single mom trying to live an honest life. I worked during the pandemic and people in distress are waiting to see me.

“People may see me as a lunatic right now but I do a lot for my community.”

Sherlyn said she had no problem with people protesting and accepted the change, but added: “They are going about it the wrong way.

“I get it. We want a good planet for our kids’ kids, which I support — but they’re doing more harm than good.

“They should protest outside Parliament and the government and not disrupt the lives of the people.”

‘Stand up for mom’

The businessman insisted on Instagram that he simply nudged eco-warriors who had blocked his 11-year-old son while attempting to drop him off to school.

She wrote: “I never drove them, I gave them a nudge, such a dramatic man.”

Gaining media attention, in a follow-up post the mom said: “Someone called Rage Rover,” along with several laughing emojis.

In the viral footage, Sherlyn can be seen shouting: “Let me take my son to school.”

Others on the side of the road can also be heard swearing at the Insulate Britain protesters.

“I’m not kidding, my son has to go to school, get off the road,” she said.

As one female protester explains why they are demonstrating, she explodes back: “My son is 11, he has to go to school and I have to go to work.

“Then get out of the way. Let me take your son to school.”

A man can be heard shouting “push them” as she then drives into their back.

She then comes out and screams: “I don’t care what the f***ing issue is, my son needs to go to school.”

The glamorous mother had previously told her that her “biggest inspiration” was her son.

In an interview with Urban Youth Mag about his business venture, he said: “He is an inspiration to me because of his positive, optimistic nature and his willingness to keep going and never give up.”
