Grand Canyon National Park, Ariz. – National Park Service officials say they have been in contact with a man who was seen hitting a baseball in the Grand Canyon.
According to a statement posted on the Grand Canyon National Park’s Facebook page, the incident happened around 3:45 pm on October 17.
“This man was seen hitting a baseball with a baseball bat in the Grand Canyon near the Yavapai Geology Museum on the South Rim,” read a portion of the statement.
NPS officials initially sought information from members of the public. Later, they say that park personnel have been in touch with the information, and no further details are available at this time.
