Outside of friendly center Mo Bamba is generating interest around the league and according to NBA trade rumors the New York Knicks are the latest team to be linked to him. The sixth overall pick of the 2018 NBA Draft has failed to make a name for itself in Orlando and could soon go for a new franchise.
It was previously reported that the LA Lakers could potentially see Mo Bamba as one for the future and pursue him. According to Mark Berman of the NY Post, the youth center could emerge as a business target for the New York Nucks. Burman wrote:
“Noel and Gibson will likely face Orlando 7-foot center Mo Bamba, who could see action on Wednesday against Gibson. Bamba could be a future trade target … Bamba is 22 and the Knicks in that draft. Looked ready to trade. The former Texas Longhorns star. The Lakers also reportedly showed interest. “
Mo Bamba still has an extra year left on his rogue contract, but it is unlikely that he will see the entirety of his current deal with the Orlando Magic.

Orlando Magic head coach Steve Clifford prefers other options over Mo Bamba. In this way, second-round elections may be sufficient for the New York State to deal.
