New-Gen Maruti Suzuki Celerio to be launched in India soon

New Delhi, Auto Desk. Maruti Celerio is also very popular in the list of entry-level hatchback cars of homegrown car maker Maruti Suzuki. Recently, the company introduced its BS6 model. Let me tell you that in India this car competes with Hyundai Grand i10 and Tata Tiago. According to media reports, by April this year, the company can launch the new generation model of Celerio which will come with updated design and features.

According to the information, the updated model of the new Maruti Suzuki Celerio will include many new features. It is being said that the new Celerio can be produced on the Heartect platform. This is the same platform on which the Maruti Suzuki S-Preso is built. The specialty of this platform is that it is very light and strong, which makes the car’s handling much easier.

Talking about the engine and power of 2021 Maruti Suzuki Celerio, it can be given BS6 compliant 1.0-liter triple cylinder K10B engine which is fully capable of generating maximum power of 67 bhp and peak torque of 90 Nm. This engine is equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox and will be given a 5-speed AGS automatic transmission.

It is also expected that this car can be given a 1.2 liter petrol engine with WagonR. However, information about this will be revealed later. Talking about the dimensions of the current Celerio, its length is 3695 millimeters and width is 1600 millimeters. The height of this car is 1560 millimeters. In this car you get a wheelbase of 2425 mm.

Talking about the features, in the current Celerio, customers get a dual-tone interior and a dashboard with 2-DIN audio system with USB, Bluetooth and AUX capability. Apart from this, there is also the option of keyless entry, standard driver side airbags and front passenger side airbags. At the same time, features like ABS and seat reminder buzzer take care of safety.
