A man was brutally beaten and his cellphone and bicycle robbed early Monday outside a New York City 7-Eleven store, police said.

The New York Police Department said violent clashes began at around 1:30 a.m. inside a convenience store on Lafayette Street. Police said two men approached a 46-year-old man and started an argument with the victim.


At one point, they dragged the man outside and started kicking and punching him in the face.

After the beating, the victim is seen lying on the ground while a suspect fled after bringing out the victim’s bike.

The accused fled on foot and the victim was taken to the hospital where she was treated and discharged. Police said the value of the stolen property was $1,300.

The NYPD said officers are looking for two suspects who beat and robbed a man.

One suspect was described in his 30s as 170 pounds, five feet, 10 inches tall, and 170 pounds in weight. The other is also in his 30s, five feet, eight inches tall, weighing 160 pounds.
